Shaw Movie City, Phase 2
Ballroom and entertainment halls
A private entertainment and leisure programme with a ballroom, stage, billiards, lounge areas and a separate recreation hall organised as an immersive interior sequence.
Project and approach
The design brought a ballroom, bar, stage, billiards, table football and a circular lighting installation together with a separate entertainment zone containing arcade games, a golf simulator, massage room, gym and lounges. Custom lighting, upholstered wall systems and aluminium screens gave the different programmes a coherent identity.
My role
As Project Architect, I was responsible for design, documentation, technical detailing and coordination with consultants and contractors. I managed client meetings, design revisions and the designers, drafters and visualisers working on the project.
