2015 International Garden Expo
Competition, second place
A competition proposal for gardens and exhibition routes built around water and a dragon-shaped entrance pavilion.
About the project
The plan uses the Yellow River and the dragon as references. Two dragon forms cross above the water at the entrance and lead visitors into the gardens and exhibition areas.
My role
On W&R’s competition team, I designed the entrance pavilion and connected it to the surrounding landscape. I developed the two crossing dragon forms that frame the main arrival route.
