2015 International Garden Expo
Competition, second place
A competition proposal inspired by the Yellow River, organised through water, gardens and a large-scale cultural symbol.
Project and approach
The masterplan combines landscape and exhibition routes around a dragon-inspired geometry, connecting traditional references with a contemporary public event landscape.
My role
Within the W&R competition team, I was responsible for the entrance pavilion and its integration with the surrounding landscape. I developed the concept of two dragons crossing over the river and framing the main arrival sequence.
