Shaw Movie City, Phase 1
Foyer and exhibition hall
A fragmented arrival sequence was reorganised as a cohesive foyer and exhibition hall around a triangular aluminium ceiling matrix.
Project and approach
The design connects the entrance, screening and circulation areas through one continuous geometric ceiling system. Integrated lighting and services support a clear visitor sequence while the large-format tiles and warm finishes give the public space a calm, durable character.
My role
As Senior Architect and team leader, I managed the project from design through completion, coordinating the client, consultants and contractors. I redesigned the ceiling matrix, developed most of its details and monitored construction requirements.
