Chengdu Wenhua Plaza
Mixed-use development façade design
A large mixed-use development bringing towers, retail streets and public space into a coherent urban centre.
Project and approach
The façade strategy establishes a common architectural language across different building types while maintaining variety at pedestrian level and a legible skyline.
My role
As part of the design team at HMD Shanghai, I worked on the façade design and detailed development of several parts of the project, including the office towers, serviced-apartment towers, shopping-mall podium, bridges and sunken plazas.
